Operator and privacy contact
Groupe Immobilier Zammit Inc. operates SpotSync. Privacy officer title: Person responsible for the protection of personal information. Email: contact@spot-sync.ca.
Information collected
Account email, authentication identifiers, profile name, age or age confirmation, area, discipline, experience, training schedule, photos, messages, block/report records, and necessary technical/security information. Do not put sensitive information in your profile.
Purposes
Account creation and authentication, athlete discovery and matching, private messaging, safety features, user support, security and legal compliance.
Who can access data
Other signed-in users may see profile fields you publish. Messages are intended for participants, subject to authorized safety, support or legal access. Service providers process information to operate the platform.
Service providers and transfers
The application uses Supabase for authentication, database and storage, and is intended to be hosted using Netlify. Providers or their subprocessors may process data outside Québec. Actual hosting regions, transfers and required privacy assessments must be verified before public release.
Storage and browser technologies
Authentication uses session or browser storage needed to maintain login. The site may use browser storage for settings. Any additional analytics, tracking or nonessential cookies must be disclosed and configured in accordance with law.
Retention and deletion
Information is retained only as needed for the stated purposes and applicable obligations. Exact database, backup, message, report and account-deletion retention periods are not yet verified. Contact us to request deletion; the in-app deletion flow must be validated before public release.
Security and incidents
We use authentication and access controls intended to limit unauthorized access. No system is risk-free. We investigate and handle privacy incidents as required by applicable law.
Your rights
Subject to law, request access, correction, withdrawal of consent where applicable, or deletion; you may also make a privacy complaint. Contact the privacy officer at contact@spot-sync.ca.
Updates

About SpotSync
SpotSync is operated by Groupe Immobilier Zammit Inc. and helps adults find and message potential training partners.
Eligibility
You must be 18 or older. Registration requires your affirmative acceptance of these Terms and acknowledgement of the Privacy Policy. Do not misrepresent your age or identity.
Profiles and matching
You are responsible for accurate profile information. Suggested matches are informational and do not guarantee compatibility, identity, skill or safety.
Messaging and conduct
Do not harass, threaten, stalk, discriminate, spam, impersonate others, disclose private information without permission, or post illegal or infringing content.
Training and meeting safety
SpotSync only provides discovery and communication tools. It does not arrange, supervise, coach or insure training sessions. You decide whether to meet another user and should assess the activity and location independently.
Content
You retain ownership of content you submit and grant SpotSync the permissions necessary to display and process it to provide the service, subject to the Privacy Policy.
Blocking, reporting and moderation
You may block or report users. SpotSync may investigate reports and restrict content or accounts when appropriate, subject to applicable law.
Account closure
You may request account deletion or use the in-app deletion tool where available. Some information may be retained when required by law or necessary to resolve legitimate safety or legal matters.
Service and pricing
SpotSync is currently free. Future paid features, if introduced, will be disclosed before purchase and require express agreement. Beta features may change or be unavailable.
Applicable law and liability
Québec and applicable Canadian law govern. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded, including protections concerning bodily or moral injury.
Changes and contact
Material changes will be communicated as required by law. Questions: contact@spot-sync.ca.
Delete Account
English: You may request deletion of your SpotSync account and associated personal information. To permanently delete your account, sign in and use the button below. This removes your profile, messages, photos, and authentication account. Some information may need to be retained where required by law, for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or enforcement.
Français : Vous pouvez demander la suppression de votre compte SpotSync et des renseignements personnels qui y sont associés. Pour supprimer définitivement votre compte, connectez-vous et utilisez le bouton ci-dessous. Votre profil, vos messages, vos photos et votre compte de connexion seront supprimés. Certains renseignements peuvent devoir être conservés lorsque la loi l'exige ou à des fins de sécurité, de prévention de la fraude, de règlement des différends ou d'application des règles.
